Welcome

It's pretty sweet, if I do say so myself. You can see the UT Game Reviews, local eateries, and great places to exercise.

Gypsy Picnic

You probably know one of the big attractions of Austin is the food scene, and that aside from great restaurants we have the fun little food trailers.Well, now the trailers are getting more recognition- on November 6, 2010, The city of Austin will host it's first food trailer festival, The Gypsy Picnic!
It will be on Auditorium Shores from 11 am to 9 pm. So for a glorious 10 hours maximum, you have the opportunity to enjoy all your favorite mobile eateries gathered in one place. According to Tasty Touring, the festival will be divided into six sections- Outliers (or rovers) South Congress, Southside, East Austin, Downtown, and UT campus -according to each trailer's location in the city.
And it's not just a gathering of trailers, oh no, it's a trailer chef show-down. Each trailer pays $300 for participation in the festival, and each chef gets to all their profits from the day. Each will provide two to three items from their menu, whichever best represent them, and one smaller sample item- "a 'tasting' portion — at no more than $3".
